About:
Mattituck-Cutchogue Jr.-Sr. High School students recently participated in several activities to help the community’s furry friends.
Vocational students in Caroline Will’s program took part in a recycling initiative, collecting more than 3,500 bottles and raising an impressive $175. The funds were used to purchase much-needed food for cats and dogs. Meanwhile, students in Michelle Koch’s and Dawn Muscarella’s classes organized a generous collection of pet supplies with donations coming from their classrooms and from across the school.
These collaborative efforts benefitted the North Fork Animal League and showcased the dedication and compassion of the vocational students and the broader school community, who came together to make a positive impact.
