The Plainedge High School Girls JV and Varsity Volleyball teams came together to make a powerful impact both on and off the court. Through their annual Dig Pink fundraiser, the teams proudly raised over $2,000 to benefit Maggie’s Wish, a Long Island-based charity that supports individuals and families affected by breast cancer.
The players’ dedication and teamwork shone brightly as they rallied the community in the fight against breast cancer. Representatives from Huntington Hospital and Maggie’s Wish Foundation visited Plainedge High School to personally accept the donation and share how these funds will directly help patients and their loved ones.
