About:
The Plainview-Old Bethpage John F. Kennedy High School baseball program recently hosted another successful Little League clinic, bringing together varsity players and young athletes for a fun and engaging day focused on skill development, mentorship, and community connection.
The clinic provided local youth players with the opportunity to learn from the Hawks baseball team through drills, instruction, and interactive activities designed to build confidence and foster a love for the game.
Beyond teaching baseball fundamentals, the event also highlighted the importance of leadership and giving back, as the high school student-athletes served as role models for the next generation of players within the community.
Supported by the POB Booster Club and the school athletic community, the clinic continues to strengthen the connection between the high school program and local youth athletes while creating meaningful experiences for everyone involved.
Events like these showcase how athletics can positively impact communities by encouraging mentorship, teamwork, and the development of future student-athletes both on and off the field.
