About:
Pleasantville High School Baseball recently partnered with Break The Hold to help raise awareness surrounding mental health and the importance of breaking stigma within communities and athletics.
Through their support and donation efforts, the Pleasantville Panthers demonstrated that athletics are about much more than the scoreboard. The collaboration highlighted the power of connection, compassion, and creating environments where individuals feel supported, seen, and never alone.
The partnership also reinforced the ongoing commitment both organizations share toward promoting mental wellness, resiliency, and community support for students and families. By using their platform to spark important conversations, the Panthers continue to lead by example both on and off the field.
Initiatives like this show the meaningful role student-athletes and school communities can play in encouraging understanding, kindness, and support for mental health awareness.
