The POB Youth Badminton Program just wrapped up its third year, and it was nothing short of a smash hit! This incredible initiative introduced 70 elementary school students in grades three through six to the sport of badminton, guided by dedicated high school student-athletes.
Throughout the program, young players had the opportunity to develop their skills, learn the fundamentals of the game, and experience the joy of badminton in a fun and supportive environment. The mentorship from high school athletes not only helped teach the sport but also fostered leadership, teamwork, and community connection.
A special shoutout goes to POB alumna Rachel Liu, who made the final session even more memorable with a stunning backdrop that added to the excitement of the day. Her contribution helped create a vibrant and engaging atmosphere, making the program’s conclusion truly special.
