Earlier this week, players from the Port Jefferson baseball program took an active role in supporting the community by helping facilitate the elementary school Spring Sports Fair. The team did an outstanding job teaching the basics of baseball to students at Scraggy Hill Elementary, sparking excitement for the sport among the young athletes.
In addition to sharing their love of the game, the players encouraged students to become avid readers, promoting both physical activity and literacy in a fun, engaging environment.
It was a great day of learning, teamwork, and community connection.
