About:
the Port Jefferson Girls Volleyball team came together for a powerful cause during the 2024 Dig Pink event, raising awareness and funds for breast cancer through The Side-Out Foundation.
With tremendous support from fans, family, and friends, attendees showed their generosity by purchasing shirts, ribbons, and more, contributing to the fight against breast cancer. Throughout the week, T-shirts and ribbons were sold in honor of Dig Pink, a remarkable organization that provides more time to those living with metastatic breast cancer.
The energy and spirit continued as the girls’ volleyball team competed on Wednesday, 10/16, followed by the boys’ volleyball team on Thursday, 10/17. Every serve and spike was dedicated to honoring those who have bravely fought or are currently battling breast cancer.
The Port Jefferson volleyball teams, their supporters, and the community came together to make a meaningful difference. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, participated, and contributed to this important cause. Together, we’ve made an impact, one game at a time!
