The Port Washington Girls and Boys Varsity Volleyball teams came together for a special Dig Pink doubleheader, combining competition with an important effort to raise money and awareness for breast cancer.
The girls varsity team capped off the event with a strong three-set win over Herricks, but the impact of the day extended far beyond the scoreboard.
By joining forces for Dig Pink, both Port Washington teams helped bring attention to breast cancer awareness while rallying their school community around a meaningful cause.
The doubleheader was a great example of student-athletes using their platform to make a difference and support those affected by breast cancer.
