About:

10-14 kids per team  participated. 21 varsity and 21 Jv teams, so somewhere around 500 kids from 24 area schools participated.

Our team work 4 hour shifts at the tournament, then up to 4+ more hours each fundraising on their own.

We did two concession stands, two different basket raffles, collected returnable bottles, and did a calendar raffle.

Sideout foundation is a group that does research for women who are battling Stage 4 Metastatic Breast cancer.  Basically they provide genetic research that gives these women time with their families.  It’s goal is to prolong life for these women through breakthrough FDA approved cancer regimens.  Sideout Foundation  We fight this Battle for many reasons.  My most recent reason is my own mother was diagnosed with stage 1a in the Spring of 2021.  I also have a grandmother who survived it twice and an Aunt who also survived it.  I feel very fortunate.  This year we honored one of the Team Mom’s who also was diagnosed in the Spring time.
