Zach with the other team Captains presenting a check for over $4,000 to the LI2Day for Breast Cancer
This bantam ice hockey team consisting of 13 and 14 year old young men, raised awareness and funds for Breast Cancer Awareness Month to benefit LI2DAY. Zach did this in memory of his grandma, Linda Sprung, who we lost to breast cancer before he had the honor of meeting her.

In addition to raising funds during the month of October, the team worn the beautiful Breast Cancer Awareness jerseys in the attached photo to home and away league games in an effort to raise awareness.
The boy wore pink and black jerseys for the month of October and raised money though online donations and during a two day period at The Rinx.
