At this year’s annual breast cancer tournament, players, coaches, and the community came together to raise awareness and show support for those impacted by the disease. The event created a meaningful and unified atmosphere, with teams competing not just for victory, but for a greater purpose.
In addition to raising awareness, the initiative also supported a powerful and personal cause—helping raise funds for Eden Sankin’s “Walker the Warrior’s Heart Transplant Journey.” Through shared efforts, including promotion of a GoFundMe fundraiser, the team worked to make a direct impact on a family facing significant medical challenges.
Moments like these highlight the true spirit of student-athletes—where leadership, compassion, and teamwork come together to support others. By organizing and participating in events like this, these athletes continue to make a difference, proving that their influence reaches far beyond the game
