In honor of Veterans Day next week, High School East and West Leadership students are visiting elementary schools in the SCSD to facilitate a lesson about Veterans Day and engage in a thank-you letter writing activity.
On Thursday, High School East students asked our young learners what a veteran is and what Veterans Day means. They also asked the students if they had any veterans in their families.
The letters will be delivered to local veterans.
High School West Leadership students conduct their lessons on Friday.
