On October 17th, the Riverhead Girls Volleyball team will take the court for a special Dig Pink game against Central Islip, aiming to raise awareness for breast cancer. This annual event is not only about competition but also about supporting breast cancer research and honoring those impacted by the disease.
The team invites the community to come out, wear pink, and join in backing this important cause. The game’s excitement, paired with its heartfelt mission, promises to create a powerful evening both on and off the court.
In addition to the match, a bake sale will be held, with all proceeds going to support a Riverhead mom of two who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and has begun chemo and radiation treatment. Let’s cheer on the Riverhead Girls Volleyball team as they play with passion and purpose in the fight against breast cancer!
