Deer Park seventh graders in Cindy Adriaenssens and Patricia Skjoldahl’s family and consumer science classes at Robert Frost Middle School recently created “Sunflowers for Ukraine” suncatchers to beautify the school while also demonstrating their support for Ukrainian citizens.
“These suncatchers brighten the halls at Frost while also reminding students of their roles as global citizens,” said Deer Park Social Studies Curriculum Associate Vanessa Langdon.
