About:

The Rye Neck Softball program volunteers in many different ways for the community.  The program runs a skills clinic for young girls ages 6-11.  Every member of the program volunteers at these clinics instructing the girls in all the skills of softball.  We also run a pitching clinic for the young girls.   My girls are also very active volunteering in our local softball program- The Larchmont/Mamaroneck Little League.  Activities include helping out at the ratings night, participating at the All- Star game and demonstrating drills and skills at the Coaches Clinic.  And finally, the girls run a booth at our elementary school’s Spring Fair.

All of the above totals over 30 hours of volunteering for the season.  The girls start volunteering in 7th grade and finish in 12th.

I am so proud of each and everyone of them! (information provided by Coach Joan Spedafino)
