About:
We had a total of 32 athletes participating among JV and Varsity.
On the date of our Dig Pink game at Riverhead, 10/4, the athletes wore hot pink Sachem Volleyball shirts along with breast cancer socks and hair ribbons to raise awareness.
They carried small donation boxes and collected money throughout the day totaling $762.
The money was donated to families in our community currently facing the struggles of living with breast cancer.
