About:
Sagamore Middle School proudly hosted its annual St. Baldrick’s event, uniting students, staff, and the community in the fight against childhood cancer. This powerful tradition continues to grow each year, and 2025 has proven no different—with an impressive $14,395 already raised and counting.
Participants came together to make bold and heartfelt gestures of support. Students and staff shaved their heads, donated hair, and volunteered their time—all in honor of children battling cancer. Each act served as a reminder of the strength and compassion within the Sagamore community.
The event wasn’t just about raising funds—it was about raising awareness and standing in solidarity with children and families affected by cancer. Through their actions, the Sagamore community showed that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a big difference.
Sagamore’s continued commitment to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation reflects the power of unity and empathy in creating change. With each head shaved and dollar raised, they move one step closer to a future free of childhood cancer.
