The SAHS Boys Hockey program delivered a holiday moment to remember, rallying its community to set a new record with 238 teddy bears donated during a recent service initiative.
With tremendous support from Pony Nation and fellow student-athletes from Tonka Boys Puck, the Ponies turned teamwork into tangible impact. The drive showcased how school athletics can unite fans, families, and neighboring programs around a shared goal—giving back during the holiday season.
The record-setting total reflects more than numbers. It represents generosity, leadership, and the power of student-athletes to mobilize their community for good. Each donated bear will help bring comfort and joy to children in need, reinforcing the true spirit of the season.
Through efforts like this, SAHS Boys Hockey continues to prove that success is measured not only by results on the ice, but by the positive difference made off it.
