About:
The Salem High School Girls Volleyball program came together for a meaningful cause on September 25, 2026, hosting its annual Mental Health Awareness Game in support of the Sarah Starion Memorial Scholarship.
The Witches celebrated victories by both their Varsity and Junior Varsity teams, but the evening’s greatest accomplishment extended far beyond the scoreboard.
Witches Rally for Mental Health Awareness
The annual event provided an opportunity for Salem’s student-athletes, coaches, families, and supporters to come together to promote mental health awareness while honoring the memory of Sarah Starion, affectionately remembered as SAS.
Through the community’s support, the volleyball program raised nearly $500 for the Sarah Starion Memorial Scholarship, helping carry forward her memory and legacy.
The evening highlighted the importance of compassion, unity, and supporting one another both on and off the court.
