About:
The Flach Family, featured in the first picture, comprises Dad, who coaches JV boys basketball, Luca, a senior on the varsity team, and Aileen, Luca’s mom and Kolby’s wife.
Aileen has been battling Sarcoma for two years, beginning chemotherapy at the basketball season’s onset.
To support her, the team donned yellow warm-up shirts, dubbing themselves “Aileen’s Army.”
Witnessing Aileen’s hair loss, the entire Varsity Team shaved their heads, demonstrating solidarity.
Throughout the season, funds were collected at home games.
At the final game, a check of $2463.95 was presented to the Sarcoma Foundation, a collective effort led by Luca Flach and Jake Fish.
