The Sauk Centre Football program is once again using the power of athletics to support an important cause through its 2026 Tackle Cancer Shirt Fundraiser.
Players, families, and fans are being encouraged to purchase special Tackle Cancer shirts and wear them proudly at Tackle Cancer Night on Friday, September 18, when Sauk Centre hosts Morris.
The fundraiser gives the football community an opportunity to come together around something much bigger than the game. By supporting the campaign and filling the stands in Tackle Cancer gear, the Sauk Centre community is helping raise awareness and show support for those impacted by cancer.
Shirts are available in youth and adult sizes, with orders and payments due by September 3 at noon.
The initiative is another example of how student-athletes and athletic programs can use their platform to bring people together, support meaningful causes, and strengthen their communities.
