About:
Saving Lives One Pint of Blood at a Time
The high school Interact Club is working hard to save lives by holding blood drives. The first one of the year, held on Nov. 17, brought in 45 pints of blood which can help approximately 135 people in need. Members of the Interact Club worked with the New York Blood Center to coordinate and run the blood drive. Students, staff and community members attended to give the gift of life.
Interact Club adviser Erica Reilly said the blood drive was a success. “We had a lot of students and staff come and donate. Interact appreciates all the support, and we can’t wait until the next blood drive in March.”
