Sayville and Rocky Point basketball programs joined together for a powerful and emotional Coaches vs Cancer event at Sayville High School, using the platform of athletics to honor those affected by cancer and bring their communities together in support of an important cause.
Prior to the game, players and coaches from both teams shared heartfelt messages recognizing family members, friends, and community members impacted by cancer. The pregame ceremony created a meaningful moment of reflection and unity, reminding everyone in attendance that the night represented more than just competition.
Fans filled the gym, dressed in awareness colors, creating an atmosphere of encouragement and solidarity.
