The Sayville Girls Varsity Softball team recently took the field for a game that went beyond the scoreboard , a Morgan’s Message Dedication Game in support of mental health awareness.
Morgan’s Message is a powerful organization that aims to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health in the student-athlete community. As athletes, teammates, and friends, we know how important it is to support one another both on and off the field.
This game was dedicated to raising awareness, promoting open conversations, and showing our commitment to mental wellness in sports. We wore ribbons, shared messages, and played with purpose, not just for the win, but for Morgan and every student-athlete who needs to know they are not alone.
Thank you to everyone who came out to support the cause and stood with us in solidarity. Together, we can change the game when it comes to mental health.
