About:
Sayville High School student-athletes continue to lead with heart, purpose, and advocacy through a wide-ranging series of Morgan’s Message Dedication Games this fall. Across multiple boys and girls programs, teams came together to shine a light on mental health in athletics—breaking stigmas, encouraging open conversation, and reminding every athlete that they are never alone.
This year’s dedication events spanned nearly every corner of Sayville athletics, with games held by:
-
Boys & Girls Varsity Soccer
-
Girls JV Soccer
-
Varsity Football
-
Varsity Cheer
-
Girls Varsity Tennis
-
Varsity Girls Swimming & Diving
-
Boys & Girls Varsity & JV Volleyball
-
JV & Varsity Field Hockey
At each event, athletes proudly wore the butterfly emblem and used their platform to raise awareness, share resources, and spread the message that mental health matters just as much as physical health. These dedication games also created opportunities for conversations among families, students, and fans—helping build a more supportive and informed school community.
Sayville’s commitment to Morgan’s Message reflects the empathy, leadership, and collective strength that define their athletic program. By coming together across so many sports, these athletes are making a powerful statement: in Sayville, no athlete struggles alone.
