About:
The Schroeder Warriors Hockey program is bringing the community together for a meaningful cause by hosting a Hockey Fights Cancer Night during their matchup against Thomas.
In addition to the excitement on the ice, the event will feature a fun fundraising activity—Chuck the Puck—giving fans a chance to participate while supporting cancer-related causes. Pucks will be available for purchase at $3 for one puck or $5 for two, with the puck closest to center ice winning a $50 cash prize.
Fans are encouraged to bring cash or have Venmo ready and join the Warriors for a night that blends competition, community spirit, and purpose. Events like this showcase how high school athletics can create opportunities to raise awareness and rally support for causes that matter far beyond the scoreboard.
Hockey Fights Cancer Night reflects the Schroeder program’s commitment to using the game as a platform for service, engagement, and positive impact—turning a big matchup into an even bigger opportunity to give back.
