The Schroeder Warriors Hockey team is scoring big off the ice! This Friday, at their home game against BND, the Warriors are rallying the community to support Saint’s Place, a local shelter dedicated to helping those in need.
Fans attending the game are encouraged to bring donations, including:
- Men’s and women’s toiletries
- Gloves and hats for men, women, and children
- Drink boxes and snacks
Donation boxes will be conveniently placed by the rink entrance, making it easy for fans to give back while cheering on the Warriors.
The team has been participating in Warriorsgiving since the 2022-2023 season, when they first began shopping for prescribed items at Target. This year, the Warriors are taking their efforts up a notch by encouraging fans and even the opposing team to contribute donations as well.
“We appreciate the opportunity to give back to our community and help those less fortunate,” said Coach David Broussard, “It’s amazing to see how the players and the community come together for such a meaningful cause.”
