About:
Bellmore-Merrick hosted the first Unity Summit on May 17. Student volunteers from all over Bellmore-Merrick were present . Nearly 60 districts in Nassau County and 400 athletes/coaches have united to emphasize sportsmanship and unity.
The Team Up for Unity Summit focuses on civility, unity, and sportsmanship, offering excellent workshops and a valuable opportunity for athletes from Section VIII to share their experiences.
Mineola student-athletes also attended the Section VIII Summit on Unity, Sportsmanship, and Civility. With keynote speakers and breakout sessions on grit, our student-athletes are now prepared to be future leaders in our school community.
