About:
Girls Volleyball team turned their October 23rd matchup against MacArthur into a night of purpose and community.
Before the game, the team held a special ceremony honoring one of their volleyball moms who is currently battling breast cancer. The moment set the tone for an evening dedicated to strength, support, and awareness.
Throughout both the JV and Varsity games, the booster club led fundraising efforts, selling shirts, drinks, bags, and snacks to fans and families in attendance. Half of the proceeds from the evening were donated to the Katz Institute for Women’s Health, with the team proudly contributing $300 to help support women fighting breast cancer.
The event not only raised funds for an important cause but also showcased the compassion and unity that define the E.W. Haunaka Volleyball program — proving once again that their greatest victories happen both on and off the court.
