About:

Sewanhaka High School’s Students and Teachers Against Cancer club raised $200 for Road to Home Rescue Support when it hosted a Welcome Spring ice cream sale on March 22 and 23.

The club sold chocolate and French vanilla ice cream for $1 each. Special sundaes with whipped cream, sprinkles and hot fudge were sold for $2. All of the proceeds will be donated to Road to Home Rescue Support. According to its website, Road to Home’s mission is to focus on animals in need and provide support to local rescues. The organization provides guidance and support for re-homing an animal and provides medical attention, training, spay/neuter and food/supplies to homeless animals.
