At Sewanhaka High School, compassion and teamwork were on full display as STAC (Students and Teachers Against Cancer) led a heartfelt Thanksgiving initiative to support families within the community.
With incredible generosity from faculty and staff, the group collected 10 turkeys, gift cards, and an abundance of nonperishable food items—all donated to the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry.
This meaningful effort reflects STAC’s ongoing commitment to service and supporting those facing challenges. Under the guidance of advisors Ms. Barbosa and Ms. Ruvel, students and educators worked side by side to ensure that more families could enjoy a warm and comforting holiday season.
