About:
The Shaker Girls Volleyball program continues to make a meaningful impact both on and off the court with their annual Dig Pink events. This past Tuesday, the team hosted a Dig Pink game, bringing their total fundraising amount to over $3,000 to support breast cancer research. The campaign, which runs through Saturday, still offers time to donate and contribute to this important cause.
In addition to the Dig Pink game, the Shaker High School JV Volleyball team will compete in the Queensbury High School Power of Pink Tournament on September 28th, and the Varsity team will participate in their Annual Dig Pink Game on October 1st. These events, held annually, have raised thousands of dollars over the years for the Side-Out Foundation, an organization that funds clinical trials for stage 4 breast cancer—the most advanced and underfunded type of breast cancer research.
The Shaker Volleyball Program is proud to support this vital cause, bringing the community together to raise awareness and fund lifesaving research. The team’s commitment to making a difference extends beyond the court, and their fundraising efforts are a testament to the power of teamwork and giving back.
Thank you to everyone who has donated and supported the Shaker Volleyball Program in their mission to help find a cure. There’s still time to contribute! You can donate to the campaign here.
Together, we can make a difference!
