About:
We had approximately 120 athletes whose entire seasons were dedicated to raising awareness for domestic violence by contributing all of their training and racing meters to the cause (2 hours a day, 6 days a week for 15 weeks). There were 5 senior boys (Kyle Gregor, Alex Hislop, Greg Langone, Jaron Meyer & Colin Tower) who were principally involved in managing, tracking and reporting all of the training and who also handled all of the interviews for the news / magazine publications, etc. throughout the season. Their time commitment on top of their training and racing was probably close to 100 hours collectively to manage the awareness campaign.
ICYMI: The boys on the Track and Field team @ShenAthletics sit down every Monday, before practice, for a very important conversation. Take a look. @LegionRising @ShenNews @WithoutViolence #CBIM #Meters4McCluskey #ForLauren pic.twitter.com/nvmfgHV0Hl
