About:
The Shoreham-Wading River High School community relations class and teacher Erica Scully hosted a successful fundraiser for a cause right in the local community.
The class partnered with Long Island Lending a Helping Hand, based in Rocky Point, to collect toiletry items for those in need. Collection boxes were placed in all buildings in the Shoreham-Wading River Central School District. The community relations class students organized the event, created posters, picked up the boxes and dropped them off at the organization.
