About:
The Tom Cutinella run is incredible. The Patriot Run is in honor of one of our SWR athletes, Thomas Cutinella, who lost his life from a head injury during a football game. The Thomas Cutinella Memorial Foundation was started in his honor and they are committed to improving awareness of football related head injuries, raising awareness of the importance of being an organ donor and keeping Thomas’s legacy of leadership, kindness and selflessness alive.
Our cheerleaders attend the run each year to bring some spirit to the runners that day and cheer them on at the start and finish lines. Some of our cheerleaders run this too, as well as various other teams across our district. It’s a beautiful day honoring a beautiful person!
