About:
The Smithtown East boys’ and girls’ JV and varsity lacrosse teams are coming together for a special event dedicated to raising awareness for the One Love Foundation. While still in the early planning stages, this initiative aims to bring the community together in support of an important cause.
On game day, both teams will take the field with a shared mission—to educate and spread awareness about relationship health and the critical work of the One Love Foundation. To support the cause, a vendor has been secured to create custom t-shirts, with a percentage of the proceeds benefiting the foundation.
This event will be more than just lacrosse—it will be a fun-filled community gathering. Plans include concessions, inflatables for youth, face painting, and halftime scrimmages featuring local youth league players. By involving younger athletes and engaging the local community, the teams hope to create a lasting impact while rallying support for an important cause.
