The Smithtown High School East field hockey team hosted a Togetherness Tournament on Oct. 6, honoring the memory of former Smithtown High School East student, Valerie Kratochvil.
Valerie Kratochvil was a junior at Smithtown East High School, who actively participated in field hockey and track & field teams.
Joining the Bulls were teams from Smithtown High School West, Bay Shore High School and Patchogue Medford High School. Approximately $1,7000 was raised at the event. All proceeds will go toward a field hockey memorial scholarship started in Valerie’s name.
