Smithtown red ribbon week and “Fall into Healthy Habits”

For Red Ribbon Week this year, we are/have been beautifying the school by planting red mums in the front of the school, organizing a fall display by the library entrance where the students enter the building in the morning, and we are working on a bulletin board outside of the main office. We are also reminding students to make the informed life choices with our “Fall into Healthy Habits” campaign. Students will wear clothes that reflect healthy habits, such as exercise, mindfulness, and stress relief. We are also in the process of organizing a photo contest, where students will have the opportunity to take a photo of themselves holding a sign that explains their healthy habit, or one they would like to work on.

 

the Junior Leadership class involved with this consist of 12 student athletes, out of the total 31 involved.
