It was a meaningful and memorable community service weekend for the Smithtown West Varsity Whisperettes, who spent two full days volunteering and spreading joy across Long Island.
On Saturday, the team supported the annual Ghost and Goblins event, where they helped bring Halloween fun to local children. From adorable costumes to crowd-favorite pony rides, the Whisperettes brought smiles and spirit to every family who attended.
On Sunday, the team traded costumes for pink as they joined thousands at the American Cancer Society’s Annual Breast Cancer Walk at Jones Beach. Walking in honor of survivors, fighters, and loved ones lost, the Whisperettes demonstrated compassion, leadership, and solidarity with their community.
