About:

The Croton Harmon Softball team is always involved in doing things for the community and for others.
  • They do the PINK/TEAL game each year in May to support those with Breast and Ovarian Cancer. The whole team helps out by making posters to honor a family member or teacher they know who has/had cancer, they decorate the field all in pink and teal, they get balloons and decorations, they do raffles, and then they play a night under the lights. In years past they have raised anywhere from $1,000-$2,000 and give that to Support Connection (an organization to support Breast and Ovarian Cancer patients).
  • They run an annual softball clinic in February/March for the community in which many little league players come out.
  • Last year in the pouring rain the team ran a Saturday all day practice with the entire Croton-Harmon Little League Softball program where my 20 players teach and break down different skills with each athlete. It is free and down after their practice.

  •  This past weekend on Halloween the team (6 players-5 seniors and 1 freshman) ran a station at Boofest, which was a day filled with all Halloween events. They ran an active station of Halloween Freeze Tag and Pumpkin Patch Fitness. Each player teamed up with a child and helped them play the game while  the coach ran the activity and the senior captain was the music DJ.
