About:
On September 23rd, the Southampton High School Girls Soccer Team proudly partnered with the Daniela Conte Foundation to support the Go Gold for Childhood Cancer Awareness campaign. In a powerful show of solidarity, the players wore gold shoelaces and socks during their game, symbolizing their commitment to raising awareness and supporting this important cause.
In collaboration with the Daniela Conte Foundation, the team also set up a fundraiser page, with each player personally donating money in exchange for wearing the gold laces. This gesture not only highlighted their dedication on the field but also their desire to contribute to the fight against childhood cancer.
The Daniela Conte family attended the game, and the team organized a special pre-game setup to help drive further donations. The event was a success, as the community came together to support the cause and raise awareness for childhood cancer.
Southampton Girls Soccer remains committed to making a positive impact, both through their performance on the field and their efforts to give back to the community.
