Photo caption: Southampton High School’s Unified Team recently partnered with the Flying Point Foundation for Autism, Special Olympics, and Southampton SEPTO to host an autism awareness basketball game. Through the collective efforts of students, families and the community, the event raised close to $1,000 for the Flying Point Foundation. The funds will help kick off fundraising efforts for Southampton’s Unified Special Olympics Polar Plunge team, which has set an ambitious goal of raising $20,000 ahead of the plunge scheduled for April.
