About:
At Austin Prep, they believe in the power of compassion and giving back to their community. In line with that mission and in celebration of the joyous occasion of Christ’s Resurrection, students and staff came together to assemble and donate over 80 Easter meal baskets for families from St. Mary the Assumption Parish in Lawrence.
This initiative was more than just providing meals; it was about spreading joy and making a positive impact in the lives of those in need. The Easter meal baskets were carefully prepared and filled with essentials to ensure that families could enjoy a special meal together during the holiday.
The spirit of generosity was palpable as students and staff worked together to create these baskets of hope and joy. Each basket was filled with love and care, embodying the true meaning of Easter – a time of renewal, hope, and giving.
Just before the break, the baskets were delivered to St. Mary the Assumption Parish, where they were warmly received by families in the community. The gratitude expressed by those who received the baskets was a testament to the significance of this act of kindness.
As we reflect on this meaningful experience, we are reminded of the importance of coming together as a community to support one another, especially during challenging times. Through initiatives like this, we strive to live out our values of compassion, service, and empathy.
Incredibly proud of the students and staff for their dedication to making a difference in the lives of others. Their generosity and kindness exemplify the spirit of Austin Prep.
Together, we can make a difference and spread joy to those who need it most.
