Photo caption: Fourth graders in Ms. Dunn’s class at Susan E. Wiley Elementary School in the Copiague School District recently participated in the Kindness Challenge organized by the office of Councilman McSweeney. Students crafted thank-you cards for local heroes, including firefighters, police officers and 911 dispatchers. The cards will be collected and distributed locally just in time for Valentine’s Day.
