Photo caption: The Chiefs Challenge Club and French Honor Society joined together to host P.S. I Love You Day at Massapequa High School on Feb. 11. The national initiative, sponsored by a Long Island-based organization, is a day to remind everyone, especially those who are suffering from depression that they are loved, needed and, most importantly, not alone. To help spread the message, students and staff were invited to wear purple and to spread love by writing kind notes, sharing affirmation bracelets and posting encouraging messages on social media.
