About:
St. Croix Preparatory Academy’s National Honor Society (NHS) demonstrated the power of student leadership and service through a highly successful Coat Drive that brought warmth and support to those in need across the community.
Thanks to the generosity of students, families, faculty, and supporters, the NHS collected an impressive 489 coats, hats, mittens, and scarves, all of which were donated to Valley Outreach, a local organization dedicated to helping individuals and families facing hardship.
This student-led initiative reflects the core values of the National Honor Society—scholarship, leadership, service, and character—while addressing a real and timely community need. By organizing and promoting the drive, NHS members turned compassion into action and made a tangible difference for neighbors during the colder months.
Efforts like the NHS Coat Drive highlight how students can use their voices, time, and teamwork to create meaningful impact beyond the classroom. St. Croix Prep continues to exemplify what it means to give back, proving that when a community comes together, even small acts can lead to powerful results.
