With the warmer weather finally making its way to Long Island, the Stars Beyond Basketball community embraced the spirit of spring cleaning—this time, for a cause that truly matters.
On Thursday, May 1, the Rising Stars Athletic Complex hosted its annual community-wide Clothing Drive in partnership with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul of Long Island. From 5–7 p.m., families, athletes, and supporters came together to donate bagged clothing items, making an incredible impact on those in need.
The result? Nearly 50 bags of clothing collected and donated—a powerful testament to the compassion and generosity of our community.
This event wasn’t just about clearing out closets; it was about showing up, giving back, and making a tangible difference. We are so grateful to everyone who contributed, and to our amazing partner, St. Vincent de Paul, for helping ensure these donations reach families who need them most.
Together, we proved that service goes beyond the court, and that by coming together, we can help lift others up.
