Thanks to a successful Penny Wars fundraiser this year, Stimson Middle School made several generous donations to support those in need across the community.
Last week, Stimson staff members delivered a large donation to St. Hugh’s, filling seven car and truck loads with food and essential goods for local families.
This morning, student volunteers from the top five Penny Wars homerooms took part in a special delivery to Island Harvest, contributing a remarkable 1,144 pounds of items — enough to provide approximately 990 meals to individuals and families facing food insecurity.
We are incredibly proud of our students and staff for their compassion, teamwork, and dedication to making a difference. Their efforts are a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when a school community comes together for a meaningful cause.
