About:
On December 5th, our Varsity, JV, and Freshman teams came together for a special community service project—Stockings for Soldiers. Each team donated items to fill stockings, which will be sent to soldiers overseas as a gesture of appreciation for their service to our country.
The athletes also took the time to create personalized stockings and write heartfelt messages of thanks to the soldiers. This meaningful tradition is one that reminds us of the importance of gratitude, kindness, and supporting our service members during the holiday season.
A huge thank you goes to our Girls’ Basketball program for including us in this project, and to Rosemarie Fileen and Vanessa Feeley for their dedication in organizing this event year after year. The effort put forth by everyone involved in Stockings for Soldiers is truly inspiring, and we’re proud to be part of such a wonderful tradition!
