At Stony Brook, our Swim & Dive team knows that some things are bigger than the pool. This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the team proudly wore pink to raise awareness and show support for those affected by breast cancer.
Diving into the cause with the same passion they bring to every race, the swimmers honored survivors, remembered those we have lost, and stood in solidarity with individuals and families facing this challenge. It was a powerful reminder that our community extends far beyond the water’s edge, and together, we can make a difference.
Swimming for something bigger means using our platform to bring attention to important causes—and we’re committed to doing just that.
